well I was about 25% completed, did something the other day, and as it was saving on the main screen (autosave thing) I must have not quite given it enough time and now it won't load:(
just says game data is corrupted and I'll have to restart, which I don't fancy, took me near 6months to get that far (don't have much time anymore to play games:( )

anyone know how I can fix it? or do i have to start again:cry:

Gutting, if I lost my 62% or whatever I think I'd throw the PS2 out my window. Mine kept doing this with GTA Vice City and I couldn't figure out why because I don't use cheat codes.

Nah, Im Playstation till I Die Custard. Always had one, played on every other rival console and still stayed with the Playstation. Plus the PS3 will pawn Xbox360 ;)

now mt child dont get me started with your fanboy crap.
or i'll have to slap you down with ps3 spec reductions, not so new controllers and the monster price tag ;)

Lol like I care, wait a year or so after it's released and the console will be much better, always the same with Playstation. Can't afford one anyway, I'll be running PS2 when everybody else has some console that can do everything including wipe your arse.

I like the new 360, but I don't get on with the controller, nor the old one, just don't like the shape or layout, so will stick with a 360 with ps3 controller thanks!!

So you reckon I should just start again?
I tried to copy the files to a usb stick, but it would'nt 'see' the usb stick, and it won't copy to old 1mb ps1 cards (got dozens) as its 1.2mb:cry:

not sure if it would help by copying it, but it could have!

see im the opposite, just dont find the ps2 controllers comfortable.
give me thumb ache

also for me(and i stress for me)the xbox HD dvd add on is more practical.
i dont have an HD TV so why do i want to pay for a blue ray drive that i wont utilise fully at this point.
i dont believe theres a real need for the capacity of either format in games at the moment when few get even close to filling a 4.7gb dvd let alone a dual layer

downgraded spec  not so new controller  large price tag  all for the better :D

long live noisey 360 :worship:
price tag in the UK will be £400+ with it being rumoured that we will only get offered the 60GB machine.i expect a price drop or bundle deal on the 360 for the ps3 launch.
the funky looking controller originally shown is gone and the new one looks like any other dual shock pad in design really
spec downgrades are rumours at the moment due to overheating problems.just like some 360's
ive never heard a 360 running in the home enviroment,is it that noisy?booted up my old dreamcast the other day and it is very noisy compared to the xbox.

dont get me wrong i take each console on its merits/games and in this generation the xbox wins hands down for me.
sony, well the only thing i have with them is there love of hyperbole and using pre rendered images oer true footage.
anyone who remembers the hype of how much more powerful the ps2 would be over the dreamcast.on release these claims were completely unfounded

It was..... a whole 66MHz :p

I've never been a fan of any PS, they are weak in comparison to most of their rival machines.

I don't really like the Xbox controller but I've started buying racing games on my Xbox rather then my PS2 cause the PS2 really can't handle the frames rates or the live rendering and everything is blurry with too much slow down etc. Furthermore loading times take forever.

With the first set of games that come out for most consoles they all work fine, when developers start pushing the boundaries the PS has always been the first the fail miserably, Even the N64 ran their next generation games better then the PS2 ran its own in comparison.

Don't worry about having to start again on GT mate, I had GT3 complete at around 90% along with NSFU, NSFU2, Virtua Fighter 4, Time Crises 2, Capcom vs SNK, MGS2, MGS3 and a whole lot more when......

My lil bro lost the memory Card   :bang: :bang:
