new to the UK - but WHY is it here..??

Saw the FULLBACK listed in a parts search recently..
looked very "Japanese",

turns out it's a rather aged Mitsubishi L200,

so what is the point.. other than the Tax breaks make it a reasonably popular market segment for FIAT UK..,

http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/fiat/fullback

I look forward to seeing a few on the roads.. or off them

Charlie

Simple answer is money/profit. Fiat obviously think there is money to be made going down this road. No surprises here. Always about the wonga.

I do hope these don't snap in half as easily as the pile of crap they appear to be based on.

Re: new to the UK - but WHY is it here..??

I haven't seen one on the road. My local Fiat dealer's one is nowhere to be seen.

I'd love to know how much of a Fiat this car actually is because it strikes me as a bit of a Qubo .. you know.. another companies product with a Fiat badge on it. But why?!

If it is based on the L200 it will be very ok. They were well respected on many a farm for many years. There is a good market for this type of vehicle.
