Me and my dad have fitted the handbrake on my fiorino van, but we cant get it to adjust properly . The drums always spin freely, even when we adjust the cable to 1 click on the lever, and we dont know what to do.

used to have a fiorino,took partition out behind driver seat,fitted 2 shelves,drove to italy in it and slept in the back,great van.. cant remember what sort of adjusters they were,but if they have 2 big fibre washers and a big spring on each shoe then slacken the cable from under neath,drive the car forwards and back wards a few times,brakeing hard,at 5 to 10 mph,the shoes will then adjust them selves up,then adjust cable to 4 or 5 clicks,that will sort them out.
