We hooked up my sub and amp into my Bravo again, but there's an ANNOYING buzzing noise which when the cd player is on gets louder with higher revs, but when the cd player is off, doesn't happen at all. It's 100% coming from the amp.

Any help please?

its probably coming from the speakers, not the amp mate.

1) Cheap Amp
2) Earth is too long
3) Power lines and speakers down the same side
4) Bad Earthing

Buzzing Noise From Amps

Hi,

The main reason that this happens is that the RCA and power cables ar eall running down one side of the car. The RCA picks up the electrical frequency of the alternator, then transmits this to the amp which processes the sound.

The quickest way is to seperate your RCA's and remote lead on one side of the vehicle, and your power on the other side.

It wont be the ground or teh earth, as the amp wont even work without being adequately connected to the farriday cage loop.

Hope this helps

Kai

Wonderful! It's gone!!! Thank God.

I just had to put the battery cable down the passengers side and the other leads the drivers side.

Thanks for your help yet again allll. :)
