Anyone done soundproofing of their Bravo/Brava?

Pictures would be appreciated.

Thanks.

No,but it is something i have been thinking about for wile,i was thinking doubleing up the carpet,as i need a darker one any way.

And some of the sound proofing cone shaped stuff behind the dash, thinish layer of fome behind door cards, and some of that sticky back foam draft excluder, discretly put round the door frames.

That was just my first thoughts i havent looked into it fully,im sure someone has done it before and would have some good info as to how,and what to use.

A few people have done it one here, I was considering it for a while. What is it you need to know exactly?

Goodmorning Matt,do you know what materials were used and ware they were put?

Cheers.

Alright Scotty,

Dynamat I think it's called. Ideally you'd put it against the outer skin of a car iirc. Bear in mind you'll need quite a bit of this gear and it ain't exactly light, but the car will sound better/less noisy.

re

i covered my car in dynamat extreme!

was very heavy after, ut you could tell the door clunked shut nicer lol

i did my mate evo with brownbread its like a sticky back tin foil lol easy to cut to shape and really does work the only problem its really exspensive it stop all vibrating in the boot and door panels over all rating i would give it a 9/10

Got Dynamat Extreme installed into Brava; flooring, all 5 doors and boot/tyre well.
So far the results are good but there is still some vibrations from the dash area and roof (my car has sunroof).

Maybe the roof and dash area will get treated next/

Cheers.
