Assuming they're the same as the Marea, bung a pair of replacement 5x7"s in there.

i done this little modification the other day aswell, speakers were too small so i just drilled new holes and managed 2 get 3 out of 4 screws in lol, they r in solid though

tommyk: how much you selling them for?

what speakers did u put in fergie?

i put in 13cm speakers, pioneer ones from argos lol,i bought them ages ago and could never be bothered fitting them but got around to it the other day,130 watts max,i managed to line up 3 of the screws with the metal frame and then just drilled holes and popped them in :p

my mate has offered me 100W kenwood ones which are 10cm

would they fit right in?

am guessing you cant go over 130w? unless u get amps etc etc? as you have proberly guess i know bog all about in car audio :)

10cm speakers will fit in the space no problem mate, but the will be to small to use the screw holes provided,so u mite hav to make sum kind of adaptor so that you have sumfin solid to screw the screws into, and u can put as powerful speakers as u want, the headunit wont be able to make the most of them though as it only supplies limited power, they would sound better run off an amp,so you should be fine with those speakers but ul have to make a little adaptor of sum sort

nice one will look in to it mate. cheers

you from glasgow? am just outside edinburgh ever been a scottish BOO meet?

hey guys,

I've got 2x JBL 5"x7"'s in the front, they fit great but only got 3 screws in due to the speaker going in at an angle. seems solid enough though.

the only thing I would look at is the mounting depth. I did have a chat somewhere but i can't find it. When you get speakers I wouldn't go over 65mm mounting depth otherwise you will pull the door panel inwards with the magnet.

Ive got these :> http://www.planetaudio.co.uk/prodshow.php3?Mid=4&Tid=7&Pid=784

if you see the mounting depth is 56mm so will fit fine, and not a bad price either. was delivered winthin 3 days!

chris... if you want some original replacements... Lozz has some for sale, send me an e-mail to [email protected] and we can sort it out.

My speakers are componants... thus have the aditional tweeter attatched... not an easy job to fit them
