Hi
My 1.4s Bravo won't go...! Key code light lit, battery sound ( turns motor over well, but no life!)
Removed earth lead off battery, then re attached..started OK. Two days later keycode light on, no go again! Battery lead off again but no success this time, ( Have tried 2 different keys supplied with car) HELP!

Yes, that was one of the keys we tried, still sadly lots of churning, but no fire..

Guessing you have fuel

Can you hear the fuel pump when you turn on your ignition?

Have you tried pressing the fuel cut off button?

Fuel cut off button? Where is that?.. Yes there is fuel in the tank, Please advise..Cheers

mk2 is under the passengers kick panel, not sure but i think the mk1 is under the passengers seat.

I'll go and check it out ( car 10 miles away!!)

should I be able to hear the fuel pump working with fuel in the tank? Or will it sound if the tanks empty?

The pump should still make a noise whether there is fuel in the tank or not.

I would open the bonnet and your window to make sure you can hear it, i can hear it clearly on mine, but on others it may be quieter.
