Hi all, I've only recently started to give my Bravo the attention it's deserves. Yesterday was the Cam Belt and today.......
I've just got myself a shinny chrome gaiter surround, and my new black leather gaiter will be arriving shortly. I'm having my new knob (no jokes) custom built by a mate with a well fancy machine at his work place.

Two things really:

1/ I was thinking about cutting the gear stick back to shorten it a little. (anyone done this?)

2/ How many ways are there to attach the gaiter to the surround? The replacement surround obviously is nothing like the standard bravo one and has no clips or any obvious way of attaching the gaiter.

Anyone out there have any pictures of modified gear stick areas or ideas on the attaching of them?

Cheers All

1stly, is yours a pull up reverse? If so - dont even attempt to cut the stick short!!

2ndly - the surround. I got my surround and found the same problem. It screwed over the original hole but had no obvious way of holding he gaiter in place. Get an old wire coat hanger and mould the shape to the inside of the surround. Pleace this inside your gaiter than put in the surround. Once screwed down it should stay firmly in place :)

No it's not pull up reverse?

Cheers for the coat hanger trick, i'll let you know how it goes.
