Northern Italian car meet, 30th May 2006 - Brighouse

Hello!

We've been holding this meet for a while now, members of alfaowner.com, alfa145.com, alfa155.org and alfa156.net have attended in the past.

It was decided last month to expand it to all Italian cars and try to make the evening similar to the Ace Cafe Italian Night.

If anyone wants to post this flyer on other Italian car websites, feel free.

We hope to see some of you there.

Yeah, it's a once-a-month thing.

I've been organising it every month (except one when it was stupid snowy weather and one when I was in Spain) now for over a year.

I usually post the reminder a week or so before.

Feel free to save the flyer, post it on other forums, print it off, give it out to anyone who you think may want to come along, the more the merrier.

I'm not expecting huge numbers this month, nor any real exotica, but as soon as word starts to get around, then hopefully it will take off.

If you turn up and wonder who I am, I'm the one in the Volvo! I had to sell my Alfa a month or so ago to get something a little more frugal!

Well, yeah...eventually!

At least I got a diesel and at least I've had it remapped so I get 156bhp and 222 lb/ft of torque.

It's a 2002 S40 1.9 8v TDCi (got a bit of a poorly turbo at the moment, but that's a different issue).

I don't know what will turn up to be totally honest, it's the first month I've expanded it to all Italian cars from just Alfas.

I've posted on one Ferrari forum, but if I had a Ferrari, I'd save it for the summer months. One of my mates who lives nearby will be there in his Mazda RX-7 though, is that good enough?

If you know anyone who is a member of any other Italian car forums, Lancia, Maser, Lambo etc even if they don't live locally, ask them to post the flyer and details up.
