Whats is this event?
Great cars in a great location. The UK’s finest Italian cars will once again be gathering at this stately home venue. Centrally located and with easy motorway access, Stanford Hall provides a lovely backdrop flanked by acres of well trimmed grass. As usual the special lawned area in front of the Hall has been set aside for the concours display that will once again feature the National Fiat and Abarth Concours, Lancias and other selected special cars.

Fiat Forum Stand
As usual we will be having our forum stand to display our forum members cars.

Eating!
We will have the full size FF BBQ here again this year and will be cooking most of the day. If you can bring food to contribute, that would be great - please check this thread here >> https://www.fiatforum.com/general-event-discussion/273173-stanford-what-ya-gonna-bring.html >> and add what you can (y)

Want to make a weekend of it?
Then see the camping thread here >> https://www.fiatforum.com/events/269258-ff-before-during-after-stanford-weekender.html

PLEASE KEEP AN EYE ON THIS THREAD AS MORE INFORMATION APPEARS

Its not the distance thats the problem for me. It the crappy roads in east anglia that adds an hour on to the journey!

Alfa's having two centenaries in a row, that's rather greedy of them isn't it? :p ;)

Anyway, enjoyed last year so shall try and make it along myself. Funds/car allowing of course, should still have RGZ at this point next year :)

Link to the campsite we stayed at last year... http://www.brookmeadow.co.uk/ ...got in touch via email to let them know to expect us and rough numbers but seemed informal really.

Shall link to the 2010 event thread for everyone to get an idea... https://www.fiatforum.com/events/233876-ai-stanford-hall.html

Hi all,

Depending on Car/Money/Times I will try to attend and help out on both days.

What time do things usually happen etc?, My insurance has a tracker and I can't drive between 11pm and 5am.

Dom

That looks nice.... how far are the chalets from the tents area?

Basically right behind the tent area. There's a communal shower/kitchen area in between as well and as I said it's all very informal. Basically let the owner know your there when you drive in, if you can find them, then hand the cash in after the stay. Think it was a tenner last time for the night.

Always room in my car if you could get down to cumbria .. and thow some money on the tank :D

Cheers for the offer, the Stilo performed rather well on the last trip down so hopefully she should be fine for this one too. Never know with RGZ though, often she can be running fine and suddenly throw a wobbly at the drop of a hat. I'm sure it'll be fine though (jinx :D) :p

Assuming I'm still running the Vec come Stanford time (if she doesn't hit another deer) would you be up for a passenger again?
