Hi guys, Harz Ducato sending greetings from the lovely warm Harz.

Van still rolling along nicely. Just returned from a 800km round trip Harz to Düren and back and nothing fell off/stopped working/or broke.

I am absolutely sure I read on here recently (but buggered if I can find it again) the solution to replacing an ignition key barrel and driver side door lock as a set on a 120.

Mine are so worn I suspect an 8 year old with a butter knife could get the thing going.

Ignition key is extremely worn but still functioning in the steering/igntion barrel but has stopped manually locking the driver side door (which I suspect is a combintion of knackered barrel and worn key).

I think I can live with the ignition barrel a little longer but I want to replace the door lock pronto.

I've looked on Ebay DE and UK for replacements but can only find 2002-2006 items advertised.

Any ideas please guys?

Best regards Simon

Amazing, my 2007 MJ120 has never done 800km without something falling off or stopped working.
On my last 1200km trip in Italy I had to erase engine error codes at least 3 times each day to prevent the thirsty "limp mode". Last week a new MAP sensor arrived but I still don't have the courage to dismantle the front and all hardware that blocks access.

The condition of your lock cylinder confuses me. Why is it worn when the vehicle has remote locking? I once owned a 124 spider that ejected the cylinders of both the driver door and the boot when you pulled the key out too quickly. Fiat replaced them under warranty of course, but I ended up with 3 different keys.
