Hi there!

I have a Hymer motorhome, 1991, based on a Fiat Ducato chassis.

Sourcing parts is a nightmare and I'm currently trying to find a replacement rear bumper for her. Not sure whether the bumper is a Fiat part or a Hymer part.

Would also be good to know where the crossover between Fiat and Hymer is, and a good place to source parts that are 22 years old!

Its an A class isn't it the chances are nothing visible other than the headlamps and wheels are fiat.

You could probably get a stainless bar fabricated for less.

Thanks. I always thought the B meant it was a B class. Good idea on looking for a custom job, though the wife might want her to be restored to as she was before!

i also have a 1991 hymer on which the rear bumper is alluminium and slides out to make a motorbike/bike rack all hymer parts from new.
i believe you can ring hymer in germaany they speak good english and will send parts out. lots of info on motorhomefacts

I wonder how many owners don't know that it slides out.
