am just about to change the timing belt on my hymer motor home ...for reasons of age not mileage
the engine is a 2.8 idTD code 8140.43

two kits are available .... the difference [ apart from £30 ] is that one includes a damper

anyone know whether or not one would be fitted on this model ?

Damper ??? maybe they are referring to the tensioner but I never heard the tensioner referred to as a Damper??

apart from the tensioner , on certain models it appears there is a vibration damper !
ask not the reason why
