Discovered that on starting in cold weather my o3 reg doblo leaks clean diesel down the back of the engine for a few mins, seemingly til it warms up! my garage checked it and were skeptical as they couldnt get it to do it, until i took in a jar full of clean diesel that I collected one cold morning! Im taking it in for them to start up cold next week to see if they can catch it doing it... has anyone experienced this or have any idea where it might be coming from? I can pass these thoughts on then when i take it in! cheers guys!

I have a friend who had a similar problem on a Mercedes Benz Sprinter. It was due to a leak on the high pressure fuel pump. I think an 'o' ring was the problem. Once everything had warmed up and expanded all was ok until the next morning.

cheers niall sounds like it may be in line with wot garage suggested, will mention it on tues when i drop it off! May narrow down their search a bit!

I have seemingly the same issue. Only when cold. Did the fix work and anymore instructions?

Seems like mine might be doing this.

Done an oil change with filter and also a fuel filter change and noticed a leak around the fuel filter. seems like it might have been going on for a while.

Even tho i have replaced the filter and made sure everything is sucure it still seems to leak....i think its from the the top pipe (not sure what its called)

yep you guessed it mine did it to me this morning. does anybody have a clue.

check that the filter is fitted tight,if it isnt a small leak may happen

started car this morning and nothing happened (no leak)
The leak isn't related to the filter.
I think it's more to do with the high presure pump.
will check anyway.

Its like a amount of fuel floods something then is spat out when turned over and fuel stops leaking because is being burnt.
