I have a major problem with my Dobbos front brakes! The discs are the smaller 257 mm diameter but the carriers are for the larger 284 mm so the 257 mm brake shoes are too small! I have had to fit the larger brake shoes , would this be a major problem? I tried fitting the larger brake discs but they wont fit, the hub is for the smaller disc, the holes dont line up

I would respectfully suggest more info is needed ref vehicle type, year etc

It is a 2007 petrol !.3. I have tried 2 sets of the larger disc brakes but the holes dont line up to fit the 2 small retaining nuts in fact there is only one!

From what you have said:

You are replacing 'like for like'


If youve had thousands of miles trouble free service..and passed MOT's

Then yes it is ok
