I have a 2008 fiat doblo 1400 petrol. The problem is I need to replace the control panel because the aircon switch doesn't switch. I have removed all the parts mentioned in the Fiat elearn manual ,(see foto) but I can't get enough room to disconnect the cables and wiring. I remember reading somewhere that someone having the same trouble had removed the glove box to disconnect one of the cables. But how?

I've taken the glove box out, the hinges are spring loaded and the box itself came out reasonably easily. The outer liner has three screws top and bottom and one each end near the hinges. Disconnect airbag switch, (battery is disconnected). I then disconnected the heat valve cable. Unfortunately I still couldn't get the old unit out. So unless someone has any ideas I still have a Doblo without air conditioning. I might have another go if I find any more information.
