Bought myself an 06 van for work today. Few bits I want to sort. There's a knock when I accelerate, I'm guessing a bushing or engine mount.

It had a silvercrest radio that want working in it but that's no issue, I have radios and my parrot asteroid tablet will be going in tomorrow. I did wonder about a double din unit as one of the radios I have is double din. I've seen a sat nav option, if one was to get hold of th stop part of the dash that would house the sat nav, would a double din fit?

Need to find a decent one in a breakers to replace a few broken plastic covers and panels in the back, which could be difficult here (ireland) so may have to try uk breakers online.

I only got one key with it, the blue one, no buttons on it. Would the van have come with remote central locking or did some come with manual central locking?

Outside of that I'm a happy new owner for now but im sure ill have plenty to discuss

I have a 05 1.9 jtd bog standard bought it last year no electric windows central locking or anything just the 2 blue keys one owner from New and guy said less technology it has the better less to go wrong.. and a cassette player as standard! Renewed for a Sony one which I cannot seem to fit into the housing properly no matter what I try I do like the look of that pic though and thinking I will look into that possibly cheers. Sorry I couldnt offer any real help as I’m useless lol

Years ago I started a thread about replacing the radio in Mrs G's Doblo. Check post #9 in the thread I have listed above. It details how I gained enough access to do the job.

I was contemplating the ashtray today. Has anyone come up with any useful mod or any change they've done to the ashtray. I don't smoke so it's useless, I'd like to convert it to give it a use.
