Hi,

Got a flashing glow plug light yesterday, MES fault code was P0683 (Preheating Control Unit).

Cleared the code, fault came back after a couple of start ups without it coming on.

Engine started this morning OK as usual, flashing light came up.

Any ideas on where to start to look for the fault would be much appreciated.

Ok, got the multimeter out and it looks like the glow plug on cylinder 2 has gone open circuit.

Is this an easy one to get at to replace?
