I'm in the process of changing my passenger side wishbone. Everything was going quite well (too well) until I've managed to shear one of the bolts off. I'm assuming it goes into a captive nut but I don't know how to access it. I've peeled back the carpets and underlay but can't see anything (I was rather hoping there would be a removable inspection hatch).
I'll try to post a photo so you know which bolt I've sheared off.

It's the right hand one of the two you can see next to the anti roll bar rubber.

Hmm, always a bugger when that happens!

However, it's NOT the end of the world, just an inconvenience.

Not 100% sure of the course of action, need to check out my own Dooblo.

However, looking at the photo, there is a round rubber bung near the bolt hole, so perhaps the captive nut is in there.

If that is not the answer, "I" would just drill a hole into the footwell and have someone use a spanner to hold the nut while I tightened up a new bolt.

As long as it is in place and tight, it doesn't matter where it is.

Captive nuts are a right pain when they snap :bang:

did it shear off undoing.. or being tightened, ?

if undoing .. then it's probably rusted solid.., drill and retap

if you managed to overtighten and shear the head off,
you MIGHT be able to use an easy-out ( drill small hole in broken bolt, tap in the easy-out and then wind it back out),
