Hi Guys

Thanks for having a look at this post im new to the fiat forum and im in need of some advise! i got a doblo the other week and its been fine untill i put fuel in it! wel im not sure that did it but it was the last thing i did before it went wrong, what happened was i was driving down the road and i noticed a wiring burning smell and i pulled over lifted the bonnet and smoke came from behind the engine! i removed the big black cover and still could not see where it was coming from i did notice the dash go on and off as i was driving as well! anyway i tryed to restart it and nothing nothing at all! the smell of burning is still under the bonnet but lord knows what it could be can some one help me out please before i get my money taken off me by a garage!! thanks guys

Did you get it from a garage or used car place? If you did they should fix it, apparently it's the law. Honest John goes on about it all the time.

No It Was A Private sale, i think the guy must of known, but i cant say that for sure, im just stuck on what it could be , i have called round to find a guy to come out to see what it is! but i dont hold much hope, thanks for your reply anyway

Had this on a Uno turbo years ago with the same symptoms & it turned out to be a main Live had shorted on a hot exhaust manifold. Killed everything dead untill i could pry it off & then all was normal.
