Hi
i noticed my front pads were starting to get low so decided to order another set & also some new discs.
Phoned around a couple of places for quotes & was told that there's 2 possible different types of pad(Mintex) that could be fitted so i'd need to check the shape of my pads to confirm the correct set of pads.
So i remove the wheel & had a quick look, the pads that are fitted just have square lugs at either end as apposed to the hammerhead looking lugs.
So i order the pads then go to fit them when they arrive. They're the correct shape but the wrong size, too big & won't fit. So i call the parts place again & they say that according to my reg these are the right pad if they have the square lugs.
I then do a search myself for Mintex Doblo 1.9 front pads. It brings up 3 different types. 2 of them being the 2 that i'd already seen then the 3rd type is the same shape as the pads i've got but have pad wear indicators fitted which i don't need. I Went back outside & measured my original pads & they match the set with the wear indicators.
I then spent ages looking at |Mintex pads for various Fiats & found a set that match my shape/size & don't have W/I fitted & they're listed for the Panda!
Anybody else had this?
