So motor turns one way (up) then opposite way (down)

T14086 Patron member Written a guide Joined Sep 12, 2004 Messages 39,858 Points 7,250 Location Preston May 7, 2011 #8 the reason why it unlocks again is due to the sliding door contacts....check them for damage (they break) and make sure doors are fully shut. Tailgate can also give problems.
