Small Car Services - Fiat, Alfa Romeo and Abarth Specialist Southampton Winchester eastleigh

Based on recommendations from forum members I had my daughter’s Fiat 500 transported from Brighton to SCS with a clutch issue and a backlog of other overdue work due to her avoiding maintenance and just driving the car until it broke down.
They looked at the car promptly after it arrived and gave me a thorough assessment of what was needed - this with me just a voice on the phone and them not having met me or my daughter.
The work was quickly carried out and my daughter picked the car up a week or so later. She is delighted with the car and I’ll be trying yet again to convince her that regular maintenance isn’t optional!

Exactly what I had in my mind's eye when I decided to go with a 'specialist' instead of my usual main dealer. I'm out of warranty now and prices quotes by main dealer for full service + timing belt/water pump job were eye-watering. Enter, Small Car Services. It's a rustic setting but you are struck by the cleanliness and sense of organisation of both the workshop and the small reception area. The work was done on time to the price quoted and all handled by Dean, the boss, in a friendly and unhurried way which gave me confidence. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this establishment.

Small professional independent garage, very knowledgeable, helpful and consistent, used them on several occasions, routine and emergency, well pleased and I consider they were a lucky find.
Loan cars available as they are not town based.

I've used these guys ever since getting my Panda.
It generally works out cheaper for me to drive half way across the county to them than to use a local garage!!
They also know their way around my little panda and generally know what's up from the an emailed description.
The work I've had done has never been more than I was quoted.
They are efficient and have a very good idea of how long the job will take.
They also have courtesy cars available if needed, which considering they are out the way a bit is very useful.
I usually head into Winchester for a nice day out whilst they do their magic.
I can't recommend these guys enough.
If you're anywhere near the south of England I would look these guys up.

Dean has over 20 years experience as a Fiat head mechanic / master technician on both Fiat cars and commercial vehicles. He subscribes to the official Fiat online technical resources, diagnostics, etc. and has both Examiner and wiTECH Fiat official diagnostics tools and MultiECUScan.

The workshop is equipped with three lifts (differing capacities), Aircon equipment (both new and old gas types), welding equipment, etc. Many Fiat/Alfa tools especially for engine timing and cam belt changes.

Fully capable of gearbox repairs/rebuilds (especially for 500s), engine replacement/rebuilds, etc. Electrical systems and associated diagnostic work is also undertaken.

Will also undertake work and servicing of other makes of cars.

Service reception is done by a fully Fiat trained and experienced service advisor.
