Hi, everyone

I recently bought a set of Fiat roofbars to fit the hardpoints on my roof. No problem: they look almost as good as a set of rails and seem very sturdy - I could rock the car using them without any strange noises. I went out for a little drive and there seems to be very little in the way of wind noise up to 60mph, so I am very please with them.

The problem comes when you try to get a roofbox to fit. The bars are exactly 1m apart and as they are on hardpoints there is no way of adjusting them. The longest box that Halfords make will only fit bars up to 98cm apart.

In order to get a long enough box it seems that you have to spend a bit (lot!) more and go to Thule and get something with adjustable fittings.
