went to start the coop up yesterday, and there was a strange rattle coming from the engine bay. i turned her off straight away, and then opened the bonnet and started her up again and its a really weird rattle... its like something is loose and it sounded like it came from the cam cover area so once again a switched her off incase something loose was rattling about in there and was about to write off my engine!

ive not had the guts to turn her over since because my cars have a habit of disrespecting me with very large repair bills lol

is the sound consistant or very random?

if its pretty consistent it would suspect it to be one of the tensioners, otherwise i'm not too sure, i guess its possible something could rattle around in there.
