Does anyone know the best shock absorber upgrades for the 20v turbo? I bought some adjustable koni shocks but you have to cut the old shocks apart and insert these into the old strut. Not very happy doing this. Is there any other koni shocks you can buy that come complete?

One of the most highly rated shocks are Bilstein - They will cost you around £360ish I think. Some on ebay at the moment I believe matey.

They are a great all rounder - behave very well with standard or lowered, uprated springs. Is your car lowered, how much by and using what springs?

My coupe is not lowered, one of the front springs recently snapped. We have got new replacement standard springs to fit. Thanks for the advice.

Its well worth replacing the top mounts on the fronts at the same time - not dear and you can do it as part of the spring/shock change.

I got my superspool through torqueitalia - turbo dynamics built it.

A brand new Garrett T28 hybrid unit wont leave you much change out of £900.

There is 2nd hand one up at the moment, 15K miles apparently - fccuk.

Cheers for that. i had a look on the forum but looks like its already sold. would prefer to pay the extra for a new one anyway as their is always a risk with second hand ones hey!!! doing suspension job tommorrow, got the full set of bilsteins!
