![]() | Flash Drop Down Navigation Right then, probably something really simple to do but just wondered if anyone could give me a hand! I've got a website which has a drop down navigation bar which goes horizontally across the top of the page. It also has the company name at the top etc. It's a flash file. I need this to feature on all of the pages in the same place. Currently, the way I have been doing this has been to copy the navigation bar into the individual pages which is a pain because the website is now up to some 80 pages and rapidly expanding. that means that every time i update it there's alot of copying and pasting to do!! ![]() Just wondered if anyone knew of a way to insert the navigation bar into some form of frames setup so if i updated the navigation bar it would update all of the pages at the same time. I know how to create frames but my trouble is if I create a frame that's vertically big enough to fit the entire drop down menu then I will have a big white space below the navigation bar and above the actual page content. This is why currently all of my pages are full flash pages instead of html pages with a flash navigation bar ![]() Any help would be greatly appreciated. The website is http://www.csnuk.com/csnfs Some of you may have seen this before because I haven't updated it to it's current state yet but you'll be able to see the problem i'm describing i'm sure! Thanks

![]() | Re: Flash Drop Down Navigation hmm, so asp or php is the best way to go then? how would i go about integrating something into the base code then? and would i be able to get the drop downs to overlap the content page do you think?

![]() | Re: Flash Drop Down Navigation yeah that's the type of menu i'm after. It's just i've already coded mine in flash. Would I be best to recode in Java then in ur opinion?

![]() | Re: Flash Drop Down Navigation well that would be the easiest option if it saves me recreating the menu!! I know both asp and php are supported so i may go with asp as it's the newer standard
