I am selling the much loved "B". We are back in the UK and not using as much as we did in France! We are the second owners. Today I had the guys from Car and Classic Auctions come to photograph this car. So last chance before the auction!
The price I am told is very reasonable.
1995 Fiat Barchetta
Estimates at auction now are £5000-7000k hence our price. Current MOT and we are fitting a brand new hood hence no photos yet of that. The existing hood is tatty and serviceable if you want a discount of £690!. The car has had £1000 spent rectifying an ABS fault and prior to that a complete engine refurbishment and has since only done 2000 miles. The top-end reconstruction saw new valves, tappets, reground cylinder and pistons and all new belts, water pump, distributor, cambelt, etc., at a cost of £2000 plus. I am about to fit a new rear panel in the roof at a cost of £200 as well. It is running like a new and ready for the next owner to enjoy. There is extensive documentation and we are fitting a new black mohair roof to complete the package. This must be one of the best examples of this appreciating car in the country. One older model just sold for £6,800 on H&H Classic Cars at Buxton last month! If there is no interest here it will go online at H&H next week. I am re-importing it now so it will be on UK plates shortly.
