help my hazard lights stopped working today. flashers work ok but when i switch on the hazards the flashers stop work checked at relay got live feed when hazards off the live goes away when hazards on

The power wire has gone, run a new wire from the radio live to the purple wire at the back of the hazards switch and they should work.

Let me elaborate: New car, broken radio loom. Slavaged iso connection from scrappies, used terminal block from halfords to fix. Tried turning on radio, turned on and off a few times then off permenantly, taking the hazards with it. I've checked the earth points, the switch for the hazards and the fuses are all working so I assume it's a power issue. I'm quite happy to route power from elsewhere in the car but would like to carry on using the same fuses for the hazards and radio etc so where in the car can I take a power feed without risking overloading another circuit?

I hope someone can help me quickly as I've got an MOT on Friday and I know the hazards will fail me if I can't fix them.
