ok, got my yellow spi sei, and want to get rid of the blue on the car. now i know i could just take the side strips off, but i plan to replace them with MPI strips which i have seen done

rang fiat here and they said they needed £80 and a MPI chassis number to give me the strips.

obviosuly i dont have a MPI chassis number!! can anyonr get hold on a set of these strips? and does anyone know do they attach easy enough to a SPI sei? :bang:

check scrappies.

IIRC they are held on by glue and 4 screws, which leave a hole requiring buying a part from fiat to cover up these holes or else water will get in. Ceratinly this is the case for the SPI rub strips

Why dont you remove yours, paint them black and just get a sporting decal?

the strips on the SPI are only a vinyl stick on job, not actual plastic rub strips - which are what i want ideally!

the actual strip itself isnt. The blue decal is a stickon though IIRC

they only rubber and stick on with pads - probably come supplied, no screws

not sure why you need an mpi chassis number, they know what you want
