I have a 2003 sporting Seicento, the red warning light comes on whenever I go uphill and then goes off when back on the flat with no other obvious impact. Also every month or so the yellow engine light flashes 3 or 4 times and then goes off again with no other impact. Everything seems to be working fine, it always starts first time and oil, water, brakes and fluids are all fine. Should I worry about these lights ???

red dashboard warning light, normally for handbrake, which isn't on when this comes on....

correct looked full but wasn't, thanks

yellow light might be more difficult ot tie down...

Look ASAP for where you are loosing brake fluid from.
Many years ago mine suddenly sprung a leak from one of the rear cylinders.
Yours could just be due to pads/shoes getting near their limit, but top up and check.

Re the EML, check the connections to the temperature sensors and Lambda sensors, clean the plugs & sockets with proper electrical contact cleaner.
It could just be an intermittent poor connection.

All booked in for thorough look on Wednesday on pads and fluid whilst it has new tyres. I will get cleaning the sensors, many thanks.
