runs really rough from coooollldd
the driver is ooolllllddddd(ish)
burst induction piippppe
few blown dashbooaard lightsssss
dodgy wipppper motoooor
scary standard brakes on a turbo motooor
and an unknown rattle from the froooonnt

Looks like you problems with your keyboard as well bud.

Ok check mine out for a laff.

1. Battery flattens overnight for no reason (suspect could be summat to do with driving around all the time with my lights on - have stopped doing it now)
2. Front washer connected to the rear pump (hear the word of the Lord) - but that has stopped now - washer pipes perished.
3. Driver's door has dropped
4. Brakes are a waste of time
5. Handbrake just for show
6. Seatbelts dont retract properly
7. Radio is crap
8. Exhaust catches on heat shield
9. Uneconomical running (i think)

>Rattly exhaust> poss the de-cat pipe battering antirollbar, but then> WHY?
>Poss Knackered rear engine mount (AGAIN  )
>Headlights melting sidelight bulb holders.
>Cluncking noise from front of car> now stopped but can see where said cluncking was happening
>Misfire when i start it up when wet.
>Crunches into 2nd gear on up shift even when shifting at leisurely pace
>Chipped to hell front bumper showing nice original yellow undercoat benethe.
>Pink paintwork, and too wet to t-cut and polish
>Hole in flexi> janspeed send out new one for free :D
>Disfunctional rear wash wipe. (at least the wiper works)
>Curbed front wheel due to fooking crappy pirelli tyres (and my poor judgement  )
>Broken old brittle plastic bits everywhere.
>Broken headlight adjusters (replacement units on the way)
>Bolt missing from passenger side front wing due to poor ass repair job.

............ But those things aside its all good (y)

Loud vibrating when handbrake is on (so don't use it, its rubbish anyway)
Brakes spongey (but still work pretty well)
Massive oil leak (due to a big rotten hole in the bottom of the sump)

However i like to think of my car as a project of continual improvement and my car is going better than ever since i have had it

Phil

forgot to mention all of the air intake and hoses are perished on mine, and i cant afford an induction kit

it does sound like 95% of the cars here are sporting models

come sx's and s models were the better after all :D

Steering wheel vibrates like a rampant rabbit should when above 85mph! :p

Good old handbrake is on its last legs :p

Yer i know emz!

At least my MOT is coming up in next couple of weeks, will get em to sort it out then :)

this thread has made me quite cheerful, i thought my car had a load of problems but not as many as some!! :D

1) track rod ends need replacing
2) need two new tyres
3) crankshaft buggered
4) oil leak from fly wheel
4) if its made of rubber and its near my car its more than likely fecked
5) and the lovely patterns my bumpers laquer has made

Leaking oil
Some weird black stuff comes out the exhaust
Bonnet doesnt close
Front washers dont work.

Thats all i can think of :)

my sx's handbrake holds the car like rock its been modified by internationals as the design is old fashioned. aint got a clue what they done to it but it sure as hell made it better

the only other thing with my car is i don't get no respect out on the roads so i drive extremely agressively

dented o/s door
dented o/s wing
front bumper not on properly
idles funny sometimes
feels down on power
handbrake cable metled at one point
led sidelights failed
melted num plate bulb
water leak down side of engine
wobblying heatsheild
hollow clunk from front o/s area

erm, yeah - that'll do for now
