hi guys,

still cant get my idle up on seicento sporting 1.1 2001,

It idles at 400 revs, change everything you can think of, had the car read cant find anything, timing spot on checked it at least six times, this has only happened when I've changed the head gasket, apart from that the car runs flawlessly, no air leaks spark plugs find and ht leads cars serviced.

Hi ok if it's a tooth out wich way do i go up or down but the timing marks are spot on.:)

yes i did four times just to make sure the marks lined up

I had this problem on my cinq, the idle was really low and it needed abit of accelerator to start it, i replaced the idle stepper motor on the throttle body and all was fine.

So might be worth a look there?

Hi thanks but already replaced idle control valve but still the same.

i know this may sound stupid. but there's a couple of screws that look like they set idle speed. there located where the accelerator cable attaches to the throttle body. might be worth checking those

Hi its a mpi model and the icv controls the idle speed there are no screws on the throttle body.
