Hi all,

i am working on a fiat seicento track car so where to begin,

i got the car given to me and it does not need much work done to it, its a sporting arbarth, so i will have all the interior for sale.

here is the car

i have for sale all the interior bit from this car, name a price and what you want and we can sort something out, the seats are red checkered and abarth badge on them everything in the inside is for sale including the dash

Well I am going to be putting a roll cage in it, bucket seat, I am trying to find out Where I can get some parts for the engine it's a 1.1 and need a bit more power I have ideas of putting a 2.0 16v turbo engine from a astra g the z20let, but that is for the future, if anyone knows of any place witch I can get forged piston con rod the likes that would be brill, I have been working on the car most of the day but I am limited to how much time I can put to it as I work at a garage and I have other job but on the plus side I have all the tool and that I need, I have the car kept at the garages if I need the lift or a engine crane I have one at hand, I will have £3000 to play with, so there is a lot to think about, I will post more detail tomorrow as I need my sleep got work in morning I hate waking up at 7, anyway all idea are welcome.

the c20xe has been put into seicentos but why bother its far too much power for these cars to handle and/or put down to its full extent

a well tunes 1.4 16v NA will do these just fine

firstly i would start with the handling of the car, lowered better, stiffer suspension

then onto the brakes to top the extra power the car is producing, 257mm vented fronts from a punto GT would do it, a rear disk conversion can be done (whole rear set up in classifieds)

more infomation can be found in the guides/FAQ's atthe top of the page or in your sig

away with the airbag in the steering wheel would be an obvious thing. if you wanted to go full on.. plexiglass windows.. ooh and just for that racing car look and little less weight.. single wiper conversion would look good

Thanks for the input guys, will have a look at the 1.4 engine, do you know of any tuning parts for it though or where to get them, and lsd will have a look but I got no Idea where to get one from, and also plastic windows I think I will have to get them made as I don't think anyone does them off the shelf, I will post some pic of the progress tomorrow.

quick update, just got all the bit in the basket at demon tweeks ready to press the big checkout button, btw i now have £6000 to spend just got a bit more from my mate, the basket is £3500 and i have to go to some other website to get surpension and brakes, wheels and exhaust, every else i can get from demon tweeks, i when i get the money in my bank and the parts have come i will be post lots of pic, atm though i cant do much in till the payment has cleared form my mate bank to mine, but i will be posting some little update of the car and what im going to be doing, yeah Mr Minshaw is really going to love me :), i am going to look around for a 1.4 16v turbo.

the engine will take a good lump out that cash. never mind the management.

coliovers
bigger brake
full zorst set up
buckets
cage
extinguisher
harnesses
pads and disks
tyres
wheels
induction
cams

list is endless

also, are you using the original dash?

Mr. Todger showed me that the dash actually weights more than the front bumper, might be worth making your own?

maaybe a bit of sheet metal with the clocks / switches you need mounted in that?
would definately be lighter, and would be a bit more suited to a track car...
