hi all just bought the wife a cinq to get to work and back . just changed the front suspension and spring only to find that when i lowered the car to the ground and to it for a drive it was knocking very bad put the car back up on Axel stands and when i lift up on the wheel the top of the mount comes up to is this just a case of renewing the top strut mount of could there be more to it regards Gordon

Yup sounds like the top mount is fooked. And did you make sure the spring seated correctly yeah ?
