ok boys i have bought an fitted some 55mm springs, however partly due i think to havein no ice in the boot, and partly to the standard shocks, they only seem to have lowered is about 30mm! (not happy )

so i was thinkin if i got some fk shocks, (they say the shocks are 4cm shorter!!!) they surly these would allow the car to drop to its proper height?

am i right in sayin that?

it'll drop more as you drive it, takes a while

yea i kno the old ones took weeks to get all the way down.

but in theory doesnt my shock idea work? especially as i have emailed FK about the shocks they do!!! just wondering really think my standard ones are on their way out.

Replacment dampers are a good idea. Standard ones will bottom out causing iffy handling, particularly if they are nearing the end of their service life.
