right then i have used 5 of the blue version of these bulbs behind my white dials
http://www.ultraleds.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=44&products_id=345&osCsid=005ab68ca144e66d429ffcc2a37ea31c (those will need filind down on the plastic bit in order to get them back in the dials!

those were also the bulbs for the clock, heater matrix bits and the window winder buttons.

however the leds needed for the dash switches are the red ones on this page
http://www.maplin.co.uk/search.aspx?MenuNo=316&MenuName=3mm%2012V%20Standard%20LEDs&FromMenu=y&doy=12m1&worldid=3

i used those ones cause they are already 12v an dont need a resistor to work.

note: the led bulbs only work one way around, if they dont light when u first test them, then take them out an twist the whole thing 180 degrees an stick it back in.

the leds need to slide in with the longer stem touching the resistor, u will kno wat i mean when u c it!

looks awesome as well, i am waitin for my last few bulbs an then i am plannin on postin pics!!! (y)

p.s if u want a fancy interior bulb try one of these bad boys
http://www.ultraleds.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=44&products_id=658&osCsid=005ab68ca144e66d429ffcc2a37ea31c for a red one

or

http://www.ultraleds.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=44&products_id=595&osCsid=005ab68ca144e66d429ffcc2a37ea31c for the super white one, make sure it is this type (36-39mm) as the other one that looks identical but is 41-44mm is too long.

same applies to this bulbs it needs to go in a certain way so dont worry if it doesnt work first time!!!

Mase exactly which LED's have you ordered and used as there are two different tyres on that page, are they the

"5V and 12V LED Types..."
or the
"12V 3mm LEDs..."

I've read both the descriptions and they both say they do 12V, I'd just like to check as as if you have bought some and they work ok then it makes sence to buy the same ones.

I look forward to hearing from you.

It needs to be 3mm...anythng else is too big!! They dont fit into the switch assy!

"Arse" both of the LED's avalible on that page are avalible in 3mm size's, I was just wondering do I go for the ones that are rated at 5V-12V or the ones that are rated at just 12V?????

Any help you be greatful.

Thanks very much

Brian

Ah...arc, I think yu'll find yureself wrong ;)

The dash switches are std LEDs (not 5v or 12v rated), cos theyre protected by resistors in the LED holder, and the LEDs just slide in and out...just be sure to observe polarity otherwise they go pop!

I think Mase needs to come back and sort this out, as its all getting a little confusing :(

Did he use the
"5V and 12V LED Types..." that are avalible in the 3mm size and can handle up to 12Volts,

OR

"12V 3mm LEDs..." that are obviously 3mm in size and are designed to run with 12Volts?????

I'd really like to know as I'm after ordering some for myself but I want to know the exact ones Mase ordered so I can get the same knowing that they will work without any problems :D

Where are you "Mase" we need you.

I know the LED's for the Cinq just slide in and out so changing them is really easy, but from what a Fella said on this thread
https://www.fiatforum.com/showthread.php?t=22347

It looks as if the Seicento LED's are infact soldered into their holders and need to be un-soldered to get them out and the new LED's have to be re-soldered into the holders in order for them to work.

If anyone else knows different please feel free to comment , as I own a CInq and not a Sei, so I'm not too sure about Sei's.

I have some piccys of what I did when I swapped my LEDs over...problem is theyre on the other cam...55 miles away!!

For the switches I used std 3mm (note Standard - not explicitly 5v or 12v rated) LEDs..The Window controls are 3mm 12v rated LEDs..Yu will; find that 12v/5v rated LEDs will work in the switches but theyre dimmer than using standard LEDs.

12v/5v rated LEDs have an internal resistor, so they dont blow when connected to a 12v/5v supply- normal LEDs dont have this, but on the switches (NOT WINDOWS), the LEDs slot into a holder...and this holder has the resistor built in- so effectively using a 5v/12v LED in place of a standard (no integral resistor) LED = less light out!!

i think you'd be wrong there.. mase used 12v ones didnt he ;)
Well, I dunno...but Ive done mine (using stds in the switches and 12v in the windows) and it works...GeX can testify on that! :D
