Quick question really guys has anyone attmepted sticking a strut brace on a cinq sx if they have can they tell me where to get them from. also any noticable differences on handling or difficulties in fitting

cheers Aaron

im guessing it'll be the same as the sporting. Get an OMP one, they have an adjuster and really easy to fit.

ive recently fitted one to my sporting (OMP) the only thing i had to alter was to remove the plastic cover from the fuses near the ECU

It tightens up the front end of the car, and is a def improvement in handling (on my car at least)

Don't have that problem on the 899cc, the fuse box is in front of the ECU

I recently got a OMP one for my Sei, different kettle of fish when in comes to fitting compared to a cinq. As for the handling, i put my car into a field 3 corners in after fitting it so couldn't tell you. The field incident was not due to the strut brace, just me being over confident.

I found that it makes a big difference on steering response, nothing else. It stiffens the car, not the suspension

That's why your car is pictures in bits in the brake hoses thread then?

Get rid of the Yoko's!

I'm glad this cropped up, I'm looking into top and bottom braces and poly bushes for the ARB, need to get the handling on a par with a mini on 165x10's
Can't be doing all this going round roundabouts without undertaking about 6 cars at a time :D

a lower strut will give around 1" of ground clearence.

get an uprated ARB, decent springs and dampers and an upper strut. and some good 175/185 tyres on there!

ok cheerz guys just gonna purchase a new omp one now also another question wat is the lowest drop full adjastable suspension kits cos now i am really sorting out the handling of the car
