Hi Guys
Been stripping my Cinq out today to give it a total clean up and noticed the spare tyre was a different profile to the standard ? tyres on my sporting is this usual?
Cheers
Adrian

Not that rigid Id say. just as little mileage as poss and dont exceed 50mph otherwise yure handling will be ...fun. Its a 145 or 135 Profile tyre IIRC, so could be used on the front on a standard S or SX cento I think (I have a feeling my 899 ran the same profile on its steelies) for as long as needed...

The Sporting is a 165 profile tyre, so a different height:width ratio will cock stuff bigtime!

i may as well put this in this thread.
if you replace standard steel wheels on a car for alloys, you must put 4 of the steel wheel bolts in the boot for using the spare because the alloy wheel bolts will be too long, if car comes with alloys as standard you wont have this problem because the space saver will have built on washers :)

im running the space saver at the moment on the front.

i aint noticed any handling problems or anything. plus i do normal speeds on it and dont have any problems. i probably shouldnt heh but i need to use me car, not drive like a granny till i sort a replacement wheel :)

I Ran a 155 / whatever steelie on my front for a bit when my Sporting had a puncture...Certainly very different. Bit Scary really!!

If you get a blow out or something you won't be so happy :(
