I know the cooling system total volume is ~4L but how much does just the rad hold?

Based on 50% flowing through the rad and 50% in the engine/heater matrix once the thermostat has opened. (the no odds would be what is in the expansion tank at a given moment.) This would give optimum cooling. Cheers Jules

Cheers John that would be great if you can (it is for the charge cooler on my MX-5 i need a really weak antifreeze mix with water wetter in there so need an idea of the volume so I can work out the ratio I'm just running plain water at the min)
