Hi,

I have a M reg 1995 Cinquecento SX and the other day the bulb for the clock went, got a new buld today from Fiat but was just wondering if anyone knows how to change it successfully or what to do.

Any ideas or how to do it would be great.

Thanks.

Yeah. Rip the dash apart ;)

There's 5 allen head bolts- undo those and the big black dash cowl comes off.
The clock's secured in by 2 crosshead screws. Undo those, the clock comes away, undo the wiring connector, then the bulb's a twist and swap bit!!

I use some long tweezer-like pliers to get the bulb out. it's not easy to grab with your fingers. Well, at least I've found that out with the 2 Cinqs I've had

Yeah. I'm not going anywhere near the clock on mine anymore...I killed it a while back replacing the bulb- the LCD fell off :( But I had ripped it apart, and my luck with ripping the car apart is a bit thin on the ground it seems

Sorry to drag up this old thread, but rather than start a new thread that may be covering old ground, here is my question.

My clock is very dull (as in light intensity, not boring) but when the lights are put on its fine, so the bulb only comes on with the dash lights. The bulb is fine, i even tried a new clock and that was the same. Is this how they are meant to be? Or is there anyway i can get the bulb to come on with ignition rather than lights?
