Well at some point this week I have notched up over 10,000 miles in my year and a half of cinq ownership
and I have to say, I am still loving every minute of it.
its had its problems, beset from day 1 when I collected it by trailer, good job as the water pump was leaking.
its had rear engine/gearbox mount, lowered springs, head gasket plus some other minor jobs which must be so minor I am struggling to think of them!!
We used to be a two car family, but now the other halfs rover 214 is gone as she had a h/g fail and she's saving for an MX5 mk1, the cinq is now the main car - the other half wont drive it, says the steering too heavy, and pedals too small, WHATEVER!!
Cinq is running sweet now, and has been for a while, although I have noticed a "tinny" rattle at the passenger front wheel on pot holes, all the tracking is ok and I am yet to take a peek with the wheel off, oh well, a job for next week maybe.
So, thats my topic for today.
