well people it has finally happened... my lil car has been hit.

was sat afternoon, got onto a round a bout, the car in front stopped, i managed to brake, stop, honk horn... then *BANG* some guy in a red polo hit me up the ass.

2 broken lights, dented boot door, cracked bumper an abarth apron, possibilty of rear chasis damage, 2 days off work with whiplash...

but hey, am gonna get the boot de locked while i am at it!

but on the plus side, fiat forum sticker looked the dogs!

unlucky, i bet the driver behind really wanted to see the sticker

it dont look that bad in the pics, so good luck getting it done

the only thing i am worried about it sub frame damage...

when i poped the boot to check the ICE it wouldnt close again... the catch was about a cm away from the bit it goes over!

Could have been worse, could have been like my Marea, 2 days old and a few hundred miles on the clock, brand new and shunted from the rear by a pillock in a Brava towing a caravan too fast. Still, his car was a write-off with the front mashed up, the engine blowing water and oil all over, the marea merely had a dented boot, damaged rear bumper and a crumple zone part compressed.

just hope its not that cause the value off the cinq wouldnt justify the cost off fixing it

i am gonna push to have it fixed no matter wat the cost!!!

if not then i am just gonna buy another cinq abarth an transfer all the mods over, i love the car too much just to let it go!

well u have 6 weeks and 4 days to get it ready for skeggy

pull up any mdf or ANYthing in boot, and have a look, if the boot floor has crumpled, its beyond economical repair, i had the same in my first cinq, f00king skoda lol
