I think my cinq has an air leak somewhere on the throttle body. So after checking all the pipes for air leaks thoroughly I phoned my local Fiat dealer.

I wanted to find prices for the solid gasket between the two pieces of the throttle body, the paper one on the lower half, the spacer below this gasket and the o-ring that sits in the recess on the manifold which is part of the rocker cover.

The bloke i spoke to seemed to think that under the throttle body it should go: gasket / spacer / gasket / spacer / O-ring
at first i thought he was refering to the rocker cover part of the manifold as a spacer but after a long conversation this seemed not to be the case.

On my car the throttle body has a paper gasket underneath it. Then theres a metal spacer which sits straight on top of the rocker cover/inlet with an O-ring in between.

ePER won't work for me at all, not on my work PC or my laptop at home so I cant check.

Can anyone point me in the right direction or check for me on ePER?

Cheers
Ben

I used instant gasket at all places where there should be a gasket.

It is not recommended i have been told, but i put it on let it try, and carefully cut the extra bit off on the inside.

And it ran fine without any air leak.
