Is there a technique of spraying parts of the car? like the mirrors and bumpers and sideskirts?
Do I have to sand down the paint after each coat?

I'm thinking of colour coding the bumpers of my cinq to the car, respraying the mirrors cuz the last time wasnt good and also redoing the sideskirts........ i dont wanna mess it up this time.

Any advice will be appreciated!

Cheers

rigtt mate

Prepare the surface thoroughly with p400 grit wet and dry paper
Panel wipe the parts at least twice using a new cloth each time

apply a coat of the primer suitable for the surface ( if ur spraying over a painted surface ther is no need to use special primers but if u are sprayin bare plastic make sure u use plastic primer)

Apply filler primer in an even coat holding the can or peferably spray gun about an arms length away

let it totally dry

flat the surface untill smooth with p1000 and p1200 wetand dry papers and loads and loads of water

Apply the second coat of primer

let it set

Apply topcoat

let it set

flat only with p1200 or even p1500 papers and loads of water

apply two more cats of top coat one after the other leaving at least half an hour between coats

apply laquer if needed
