Bought some Delta 8v (5,5x14 ET45) rims for my Sei... from what I've read a few people here have gone through this setup (if not on a Sei, then a Cinq). Was wondering how the fitment went for you, as the clearance isn't sufficient when bolted straight on. What spacers/bolts/tyres did you use? Also - is it possible to lower the car with such wheels (without doing any body work) and how much if so. Thanks for any input...

Edit; and 1 more Q - do the rims leave enough space for any brake conversions? They seem quite beefy..

lol i wounder if he'll copy and paste or re write the whole thing:rolleyes:

Heh... yeah I was wondering, whether it was "he's gonna love it" in a good or bad way :p Hope this hasn't been discussed widely enough for me to earn "use the damn search button, noob!" remarks! I didn't find anything on them in the Sei...

ok ill try this from one of j333evo's many posts on this topic :p,

Sei Sportings have 13" wheels 5.5J ET 27 no spacers.

Sei Abarths have 14" wheels 5.5J ET 36; but with 10mm spacers on the front which makes the corrected ET 26.

Delta 8v have 14'' wheels 5.5j ET45 therefore to replicate (or as near as) the ET of the 14" wheels as fitted by Fiat on the Abarth models you need to fit 10mm spacers on the rear, corrected ET is then 35 and 20mm spacers on the front making corrected ET 25.

basically there the same size as the Punto GT wheels (y)

Can't rem what spacers I used but that sounds about right

Also yes loads of room for GT front and UT rear calipers ;)

EDIT:

this is the ones I used on the front

look about 20mm lol

Got any pics of the wheels, just out of interest??

Now this is the good part - I know I'm going to get crap from people for being a Subaru wannabe :D My Sei is blue and the wheels are gold. Thing is I had been hunting for them for some 2-3months (each day checking auctions, forums etc) and in the end I had a choice of gold, refurbished, or normal in used, unrenovated state (same price). Even though I'd have preferred the normal colour I opted for the 'better condition' ones :)

Thanks for all the replies guys. Should have everything together within the next week or two, so I'll post pics.

do a google search + forum, theyre on blus turbo cinq

I know, was wondering though whether anyone had gone through with this on a Seicento... and in the threads I went through there wasn't much on fitment/lowering/brakes either.

Ah well I can't rant now cos everyone else has covered it, humph! :D

But I can still be pedantic though, have to keep up the good work lol

14" 4x98PCD wheels were fitted to the Lancia Delta HF turbo and HF4WD, the late model having 'Pepperpot' style wheels, whereas to refer to a Delta 8V would in most peoples instances refer to the Lancia Delta integrale 8v which was fitted with the same design wheel but a 15" 6J wheel. This same design of wheel was then fitted to the Delta integrale 16V but in 15" 7J wheel.

On the last models integrale's the Delta name was dropped all together, so you got the Lancia integrale EVO1 and EVO2 which were fitted with 5x98PCD wheels of a completely different design multi spoke Speedline wheel which aided brake cooling 15" 7J on EVO1 and 16" 7J EVO2. This design has been copied by Comopomotive and is known as the TH2.

Here endeth the Lancia lesson. :p

Doh! Having spent so much time looking for these wheels I don't know how I could have mixed them up. Yes, of course, I meant the 4WD wheels!

The part about dropping the Delta name is new to me though, so thanks - I guess one really does learn smth each day :p

Do you know if anyone did the 15" wheels? I had the possibility, but opted not, because it probably would mean body work...

Ah ha, my cars been mentioned.. As to lowering, yes you can lower it, it being a sei shouldn't make much difference, mines lowered 50mm all round, not sure what spacers are on there at the mo but under heavy cornering my wheel catches the swing arm at the back but just needs new spacers and all will be solved, not had the wheels off to see whats on them atm though

note, mine are 8v wheels that are painted to look like 16v wheels. I think anyway, Aaron can confirm, he found them in the first place i believe. Anyways, piccy

incidently, you've shown the pic that cinqyabarth used to p'shop what i wanna do to this car.
