Hullo all again

Meshing my bumper for the stoke meet - gonna be lovely. Anyway, I need to know, what colour and where from, length doesnt boter me as there is a substantial area of plastic remaining where joins can be hidden.

I had a look at Halfords but I aint been to motorworld yet.

Ny recommendations?

Coulour by the way - red car and red bumper. Black sound good to everyone?

It would match all the other black bits i.e. Screen surround, bottom of the sills, tow hook etc.

And on the subject of tow hooks - i think Im gonna need to cut my mesh to fit round it - so, strength would be a good factor in this mesh decision.

Im off to work now, will be back at 8p.m. Im goin to buy it tomorrow. So responses before then would be good.

for strength it mite be better to get the small diamond mesh, it gives it more stability as its all tight and close together.

as for mesh, if your not bothered bout the size then halfords, motor world.

Try B&Q. They have started selling a wide range of mesh and stamped steel. The good bit is that because it is targeted at DIY and not motor modding it's quite cheap.

Black to blend in or silver to show off[8D]

I went silver - not to show off especially, jst cos thats all motorowrld had in - hehe.

'milesbetterthanyou' is there any chance of getting a close up picture of your mesh so I can see what it looks like close up. I'm considering buying some but I've not made up my mind which one to buy.

BushBoy... you took the front towbar off? Is that illegal or anythin cos it would make it a hellluva ot easier to fit the mesh.

no idea if its ilegal or not but i took it off cause i didnt want an ugly tow bar poking through the mesh. its only on by 3 bolts (the onesthat hold the horn) and comes off in a few mins. If i brake down they can bring the truck out Im paying enough to the AA as it is.
