Decided to jet wash my car yesterday and a unholy amount of scratches have appeared on my BLACK GP. Now I have a question, using a t cut or related paint fixng product... Is it going to come off every time I jet wash it?
When I had my Seicento, the black paint was always picking up swirls and small scratches... black truly is one of the worst colours for it. I used Meguiar's ScratchX 2.0 to shift most of them with an electric buffer, then Showroom Shine from Greased Lightening to protect the paint... but every week, there'd be new ones.
ScratchX or T-Cut won't "wash away" as you might think, but they can't really protect the paint from future damage, sadly owning a black car is a constant battle for perfection.
Regretting the black car already, must have found about 50 separate small scratches, the person who owned it before me definitely had a dog as the bottom of the boot is scratched to death, but I'll have a go with the scratch x when I get paid Tuesday.
Has anybody seen this Mantis scratch Remover pen knocking about lately does it work?
but like any abrasive product it needs to be worked in long and hard doing a small area at a time 1x1 ft square ish 2 pea size blobs and work until it becomes clear then buff off the excess
