Hi everyone, I'm hoping there is someone out there that has experience of replacing the inner CV Joint on their Fiat Bravo 1.4 T-Jet (2007).

I am having great difficulty in prying the joint off, I've tried to wedge a pry bar behind it and prize it off, but it just won't budge.

I've noticed there are three nuts behind the cv joint on the transmission housing, do I need to remove these or should it just come out, any ideas would be greatly welcomed.

I think from looking at picture at a drive shaft for the t-jet from a reseller it should just come out. it looks as mine does on the mjt.

It's only hold by a snap ring in the gear box. But I didn't find it easy to remove. I struggled on and suddenly it came out. Hard to explain but it takes no force to get it out, you don't need to pry it much, it more like a sudden shock or something like that to get the cup out.

Thanks Thomaz27, that's what I thought, may be if I try and give it a jiggle.

What did you use to get yours off? I've found it's quite difficult to get anything behind to give a decent pull out without slipping. I've tried a pry bar, screw driver etc without luck.

I used a prybar or a big screw driver. You can try to turn the driveshaft and try in a different position.

I don't now why they are so hard to get out. Keep trying it will come out, mine did, but I almost gave up in the process. Suddenly it will just happen.

Just to complete the picture if anyone else needs to replace their offside driveshaft on their Fiat Bravo 1.4 T-jet 2007) - there are 3 bolts with allen key heads on them, you have to remove these before you can withdraw the entire driveshaft.

If you jack the car up on the offside, you will be able to undo 2 of the 3 bolts but the other one is near impossible to remove from the side, only way to do it is to drive the car onto some ramps, get underneath and remove it.
