Hi i have a grinding (metal on metal) sound when braking... this is due to brake caliper rubbing on disk when braking.. gets worse the harder i brake.. any reason as to why its rubbing on caliper??? TIA

A brake pad may have worn so badly it fell out or brake pad friction material completely worn away just leaving metal backing directly contacting disc.
Whatever had happened do not drive the car until it is repaired.
Get it done by a person who has experience in doing things correctly there could be an underlying problem.
